Ask the question "How will you remember this?" of our students and have an answer to MODEL for them. There will be a half-hour working lunch. (Bring your lunch)

11-123033D Cooperative Learning-Has Learning Occurred? August 20, 2010

We will discuss and model the difference between true cooperative learning and not just

group work. The basics of true cooperative learning will be reinforced for the non-whole

group portion of your lesson. Dovetailing the work of the Johnsons and Spencer Kagan,

small cooperative structures will be discussed and demonstrated that can be integrated

into most class periods. There will be a half-hour working lunch. (Bring your lunch)
