We will reimburse you (or your district) for the conference registration fee that is paid for approved conferences! This money MAY support partial or full-day seminars or workshops from companies or BOCES, and is intended to get you more involved as members of Professional Educational Organizations.
Go to The NYS Council of Educational Associations to see many, but not all, of the Professional Organizations we'll support (Look under Member Associations.)
As of 07/13/05
- We must receive your application PRIOR to the conference/workshop you wish to attend. You will be notified by email as to your approval.
- Workshops & Conferences taking place in May or June MUST be applied for before May 1st
- Each person must submit an application; no group applications.
- There is an annual reimbursement limit of $500 per person/conference.
- There is an annual reimbursement limit of $1,000 per district.
- Any money we have budgeted for this, which is not spent by May 1st of each year, will be reallocated for end-of-the-year needs.
- YOU MUST SUBMIT YOUR FINAL PAPERWORK WITHIN 30 DAYS OF THE CONFERENCE OR YOUR MONEY WILL BE FORFEITED.
REMEMBER: This is ONLY for reimbursemnt of REGISTRATION fees; no food, no travel, no hotel.
