Instructors: Carol Dyce & Teresa Vitrano Date/Time: Books a-go-go Aug 20, 2007; 8:30 am – 2:30 pm Date/Time: Books on the run for fun August 21, 2007; 8:30 am – 2:30 pm Location: O/N BOCES Conference Center This program is geared toward Pre-K – 2, Primary Ed, Reading, Art, and Speech. LIMITED TO 20 PARTICIPANTS Interactive make ‘n take workshop based on the objective of creating books to promote literacy in the classroom and to stimulate home/school communication through primary reading and writing activities. The handmade books are based on familiar literary characters, topics, and individual needs. The books are completed and ready for immediate classroom use. Prerequisite: Bring scissors and glue sticks, sense of humor, love of Motown and peanut butter cups.
